　　In the future bioeconomy, industrial microbes and enzymes play a very important role in addressing major global challenges, being instrumental for improved resource efficiency, making renewable substitutes for products from fossil resources, upgrading waste streams to valuable food and feed ingredient, making crop plants more robust to survive climate change condition. These applications of enzymes and microbes stand on the shoulders of the great efforts of numerous scientists from different fields over generations. In this presentation, different aspects for industrial microbes and enzymes will be addressed, including how technology development boosts new product development; recent development; trend, opportunities and challenges for future product development and application in various industries, including household care, food and beverage, bioenergy and animal health and nutrition. 

　　報告人簡介： 

　　1997年获伦敦大学生物学博士学位，主攻真菌分类和生物学。毕业后一直就职于全球最大的工业酶制剂创新引领者诺维信公司，先后在诺维信中国和丹麦的研发中心任资深科学家、科学总监、总监和高級總監职务，从事并负责微生物技术和新酶在众多工业的开发和应用。申请新酶发明专利近20項；發表真菌學和酶學研究科研專著、學術論文60余篇。
